Ouch!!

I only had 1 wisdom tooth removed. When they called me back they told me that removing the others would cause more damage than good at this point. The two bottom ones are too close to a nerve - and if the teeth were removed I could have bad nerve damage in my face for a year or more. Yikes!! Keeping those for now. The other one they didn't remove because the root was too close to my sinus thingie and it could cause sinus problems that I don't want. So... needless to say I was pretty freaked out going into surgery. The poor surgeon guy couldn't find a vein in my arm...haha. That always happens. So he had to poke my hand instead. Ouch! I got some pretty good drugs though - so I haven't really felt too much pain. I'm just so freaking hungry!! I'm too afraid to eat anything, so I'm drinking my food. Ma came over today and brought me a Wendy's frosty... yum!!!! I'm even afraid to eat that. What if something gets into my wound?? I don't want an infection. I'm terrified of an infection. So... I'm watering it to death. I think I've drank 2 gallons of water in these 2 days. Can you say puffer-fish!
The cool thing is, my boss gave me $850 for my wisdom teeth removal!! How cool is that. He said it was a 'thank you' for sticking with him. :) The nurse lady quoted me too low so my portion would have been quite a bit more, but since they only removed 1 tooth, it was only about $300. :) I'd say I made a profit my friends. I would give the rest back to him, but I know he won't take it. So... I have the earnest money to take with us tomorrow afterall. WOOHOO!!! Life is good.
