Christmas

I think this holiday season flew by faster than any other so far. It's strange how the older you get, the faster time goes by. Why is that? I can't make sense of it.

We had a wonderful Christmas! My Punky (that's what I'm going to call her from now on... It's like a pumpkin/baby mixture) got me something I've been wanting for months! A new ladies vanity!! Thank God! It's not easy putting make-up on while leaning over the bathroom counter. The lighting is terrible for one, and I don't have anything to rest my arm on as I apply my eyeliner. How do we manage to stop ourselves from looking like a clown most days? It was a daily struggle for me I tell ya. She's going to put it together for me tomorrow while she's off of work. Scally-wag! It would be nice to be able to take an entire week off from work. I know Ma agrees with me on that one :)

If I play my cards right, Punky just might take all of the Christmas decorations down while she's off work. Oh please...please...please! How nice would that be. I love putting everything up, but the take down is a drag!

AS is throwing a New Years Eve party at her house - can't wait for that! We always have such a good time when us girls get together. Unfortunately my other favorite co-worker JM probably won't be making it :( Drats! As long as I have my own bottle of White Zin, I'm sure I'll recover.
