No big news here

We bought a king sized bed last weekend!! OMG I love a king sized bed. J and I aren't really the snuggling kind since I get really hot easily and she has problems with night sweats. LOL... we're a pill! So having all this room is da bomb! :) I can sprawl out and not even come close to her. It's really helpful when neither of us bothered to shave our legs that night. lol

So, that's our Christmas present to each other. I got the most beautiful comforter set too. OMG I love it. I will get a picture up shortly. The beautiful bench we got from Mom and Dad for our housewarming matches PERFECTLY! Just fabulous :) It's at the foot of the bed and is presently used to help Jaws get on and off the bed. Poor fat cat can't get on by himself... and if he tried he would claw the shit out of our new pretty!!! That's not an option. I LOVE MY BENCH!

I have to admit, I haven't done a single bit of Christmas shopping yet!!! How terrible am I!? i am planning on starting this weekend. Good lordy, there's only 2 1/2 weeks until X-mas. I've got to get a move on. I have my list made out, so at least the hard part's over :) YAY FOR CHRISTMAS!!!

Tomorrow I'm going to help Mom and Dad get the lights up on the Grandparent's house. Mom got a bunch done today with the bushes, but it's become a family tradition doing them all together. I think last year bro helped take them down. I can't remember when he last helped put them up though. I might need to call him to get his bahonky over there! We'll see.

Tomorrow night J and I are going to a Christmas party at KB's house. We went last year and didn't really have that great of a time. J ended up leaving after 1 1/2 hours and I hitched a ride back with an ex co-worker. Well... we all skipped out early and went to our local night club. hehe. Now that was fun!! J and I contemplated skipping this years party, but KB and her husband really want J to paint them a jazz/blues style painting. So she needs to go and see the area to get an idea of what they want. Kinda stuck there. My best work bud AS can't come :( So we will probably only stay a short while.

Next weekend is the BIG one! Our work shindigs are always eventful. Last years work party wasn't that fun for us though. We were both sick and the only sober people there. That's never a good outcome. So this year we're both healthy (knock on wood) so we can mix and mingle to the jinglin beat!!!! I might even ride the bull!! Mechanical bull that is :)
