Future house?

Jeanne and I went out again today in search of our future home. I think we found it. There is a picturesque little housing edition being built in Coweta - Timber Ridge Crossing II. The price is doable and the house couldn't be cuter! I just realized... this house looks a lot like Mom and Dad's. Hum... interesting :)



The lot sizes aren't even close to the size of Mom and Dad's. But hey - it's our first house and that's ok :) Small isn't bad - right? Less to mow... less to fence. Sweet! There are 3 lots that we are considering. One backs up to a farm and the others back up to a really nice pond. I'm loving the pond idea... but we'll see.

Here's the floorplan. I absolutely love the kitchen!! One little snag though. The dinette set that Dad worked so hard to refinish for me will not fit. So... I'm thinking about trading Craig and Heather my dinette set for their round kitchen table. At least this way I wouldn't have to get rid of it permanently. They can keep it in the family :)



Originally we were thinking about getting a house within the year... now we've decided that we need to jump on this now before the prices go up. So, we're contacting the lender tomorrow to see what they can do. 3 months is all it takes to build, so September would be the shining month. As long as we can get approved of course :)
