Breakfast

I'm so proud of myself. :) Around our house, Sunday is known as 'Pancake Sunday.' I adopted our old family tradition of cooking pancakes on Sunday - and it tickles J pink! Well last night we had a little shindig at AS's house and J mentioned that she would like to have fried eggs with her pancakes. Oh lord... I can't make fried eggs to save my life. I always break the yolk and it's a runny mess. Well... I gave it a whirl and walla - I MADE FRIED EGGS!! And they turned out good... so J says anyway. (I won't eat them of course... being a veg and all - but they are cage-free chicken eggs... that was a must)

I can now say I'm a cook... I can do all things... I am brilliant. Snaps to ME :) Woohoo!!!

Speaking of being a veg, I can hardly believe it's been like 3 months now. I tell ya, I don't miss it one bit. It's strange only having veggies and potato for dinner, but it's cool.

Today we're off to go antiquing. We're not going to buy anything of course, but it's always fun to look. There's a place called Pink Ladies Mall in Jenks where AS has a booth of her Uncle's stuff. We've been wanting to see what all the fuss is over, so today's the day.

It's going to be a good day. I'm going to make sure of it :o) Happy Sunday to all.
