Yet another project

As if we don't have enough projects going on (back fence, deck), Punky went and got us a pool the other day. Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled with the thought of having our own pool. My problem is... our back yard is so sloped it's ridiculous! We put it up not realizing how un-level it all was... filled it with water (5000 gallons) then realized that the water level was about 6 inches lower on one side of the pool. Not cool! So... we drained the water out (5000 gallons). Yesterday Punky got off work early and got some sandy loam to try and level out the land. She did the best she could... and we both tried to rig it into looking level. We filled it back with water (5000 gallons) hoping it would be better. Well, it is better... by about an inch. That just won't work. We were/are so frustrated with this thing we could cry. In the back of my mind I was thinking... 'Where's my Dad? He could fix this.' I was relieved when Punky said that Dad would be the only one we know that would know how to get our ground level. We're feeling pretty stupid and frustrated at this point. So, we're draining the pool again (5000 gallons) and I'll get it torn back down and moved in preparation for the weekend when Dad comes over to help the crazy lesbos level the ground. But that's only after we get the tree planted at the grandparents house and get their yard done. I swear Dad has been run ragged with outside projects over the past couple months (partially my doing I know). I don't know how he does it. 1 day of manual labor and I'm toast. He's strong like bull!!!!!

Still no sign of Flower. I did see the mom and dad last weekend. They came and took a nap under the tree in the back yard. I got some cute pics that I will post later. They are so comfortable on our land that they always leave poopy presents behind. How sweet! I haven't seen them since Sunday though. Maybe they're on vacation making more babies. Do geese have sex? How do they have babies. Maybe that's something I need to find out. I'm not well versed on the mating habits of bird-like creatures.
